I've been there ... I've done that. Familiarity - yes, that's the word.

"The Titfield Thunderbolts" are named after the Ealing Comedy, written by local T E B Clarke. He took the name from Titsey and Limpsfield.
The Titfield Thunderbolts play "post punk pop" and "pub rock" in a laid back style, for old rockers who have mellowed with age. Mashing up jazz, country, blues and soul with '70s post punk and '80s Indie classics.
